Days of Madagascar to UNESCO

Days of Madagascar to UNESCO (JMU), organized by the Permanent Delegation of Madagascar, is a cultural event makes to discover the cultural wealth of Madagascar. One international scope event organized outside Madagascar, These Days constitute a real window for the country in international wide.

Since 2004, The JMU have an international scope public (Delegations, diplomatic missions, NGOs and associations …) and considered by the Malagasy community of France as a way of expression of the Malagasy identity which gather them every year.

During two days, the Malagasy culture is in the spotlight of the UNESCO’s House, JMU is also a kind of commemoration of the independence day of Madagascar. There are an exhibition, conference and a show with free admission.

To make durable this cultural event is important, even more, every year, each delegation or diplomatic mission accredited to UNESCO is organizing such events to promote and enhance the image of their country. Madagascar can not do without this real opportunity if the country wishes to reaffirm its presence on the international stage.
